When your mobile and vehicle is stolen, Gujarat Government e-FIR facility @gujhome.gujarat.gov.in Ahmadabad, June 8 the Government of Gujarat Has announced that, From Now People Can Register their FIR By the Online Method Which is called E-FIR. Citizen Of Gujarat Now Can Register their FIR If Online if their Mobile Phone Or Vehicle Thefts.

Instead Of Visiting Polis station And Follow the Long Procedure, Now Citizen can Apply By the Citizen Portal https://gujhome.gujarat.gov.in/. Or through “Citizen First Gujarat Police” Mobile App You can File Your FIR Online, An Official Said.

The Facility Is Only availed for cases, in which the accused are unidentified and there was no use of Police Force, as per the Officials.

After Registration of your FIR Through Portal of Application, You will get the Fir Confirmation SMS On your Registered Mobile number and then Application Will is send to the Concerned Police station.

Then, the senior official of Police station will be assigned the Preliminary investigation to his Subordinate officer within 24 hrs of receiving the Complaint.

Then the appointed Officer will meet the Complainant within 48 Hrs of Complaint to check the facts which are mentioned in Online Complaint.

The station in charge will file an FIR if the details mentioned in the e-Fir found to be Genuine by the Investigation Officer. If required action is not taken on an application within five days, the State Government Will takes an action against Officials Responsible for it.
